Cathy Steinberg moved from The Filippines to The Faroe Islands in 1995 when she married a faroese man, Poul Nikolai Steinberg. Today they live in the second largest city, Klaksvík, with their four daughters.
Since the early 2000s there has been an influx of Filippino women to the archipelago in the North Atlantic. This project focuses on some of those women and shows the hardship of moving so far away from home and how the Filippino women adapt to the faroese culture.
